Driven by Burmeister, Long and Luhr the companion Flying Lizard livery decal set to the #81 car faithfully replicates every detail and color of this celebrated team. The two sheet set is printed with 12 separate colors and designed to fit the Fujimi GT3 RS kit or the Scale Productions GT3 RSR kit.
I was fortunate to spend an entire day photographing every single detail while this car was featured inside the Porsche of Delaware dealership. With our equally stunning full color instructions you will get every detail correct. This is a 3 sheet decal set, the third sheet has all the exterior "polished chrome" surface details as presented on the real car.

The decals as packaged are very nice renditions of the 1:1 car which I had the privilege of photographing at Lemans in 2011. The application, however, left me less than pleased. A few decals wrinkled on application around detail that should have been easy for the decal to conform to. A couple other decals wrinkled from clearcoat application. i have had a fair bit of experience applying all manner of decals so this was a surprise. Having said this, I am looking forward to this new set on a redo of the original decal set.
Match photos to a T, beautifully printed. Haven't finished converting my model yet, so I haven't used this set.
With that said, I did build the other Lizard a while back, and those decals went on very well, no issues. The model looks great.
The set I was most impressed with was the Porsche 911 full carbon test mule. The pieces keyed together with a little wiggle room to adjust position. Setting solution, hair dryer and patience. Very impressed how well these decals conformed to the body, no distortion of the weave. The finished model is impressive.
